Nedy Welman has been in the business of empowering people for her entire professional career. In founding Key Leaves Lda, Nedy turns her attention to empowering Portuguese patients not only by providing the highest quality, Portugal-grown medicinal cannabis, but also up-to-the minute and accurate science so patients can easily make informed decisions about their medicinal cannabis use.
Passionate about advancing Portuguese economic growth and innovation, it is Nedy’s mission to establish Key Leaves as a leading centre for medicinal cannabis education and worldclass cultivation.
A proud Luso Bolivian, Nedy has been a casting director in the Latin American film industry, and a key figure in diffusing Latin American culture to European audiences through several NGObased initiatives. Nedy applied her counselling skills to empower immigrant women and families in Italy, Germany, China, and Portugal. Nedy has a Master degrees in Communication Science, Social Psychology (postgrad), and Business Management. She is a founding member and sits on the board of PorHemp Lda.
